What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Node.js Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well. You would also be taking care of the deployment aspect for the solutions you build.

Responsibilities

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side business logic
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Integration of data storage solutions(MongoDB and/or MySQL. Any more DB systems you are proficient with is an added benefit). 
• Updating self with the newest changes and updates in the NodeJs and javascript domain.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Good proficiency with JavaScript
• Knowledge of Node.js frameworks (Express, Sails, Loopback etc.)
• Understanding of the nature of asynchronous programming.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
• Understanding accessibility and security compliance
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Object-oriented programming concepts.
• Implementing automated unit tests
• Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
